I have an offer from Apple, India. I'm trying to evaluate how easy/hard is it to move to Apple Cupertino office. For example, Microsoft in India has a minimum L62 rule. Amazon is very generous in moving folks to the US. I have no idea about Apple. 1) does apple encourage engineer movement from India to US ? 2) is there a minimum level eligibility ? 3) is there a minimum time limit for gaining eligibility ? Offer: ICT3 / TC: 50 lacs/annum
Sincere advice : If you are getting 50 lakhs in India don’t move to the US .If you are moving come with the mindset that it’s a 2 year change at max .Just not worth it with current visa rules
Thanks for the advice ! :)
Is there a apple development center in Bangalore?
Mind sharing how you applied and process?
L visa will be abused
Dude is this IST ? Then I suspect no ..
At 50LPA you can live in luxury there. Why come here to do smaller things like laundry, cooking, cleaning etc. you can outsource all that in India. There is no grass on the other side if you make 50LPA. Couple of things such as better weather and food quality is a little harder to get in India. Everything else here sucks in America. Bad commutes inflated housing prices health insurance etc etc and etc.
50LPA for ICT3. I highly doubt it.
Yeah, somehow I refuse to believe 50 lpa but you never know 🤷🏻♂️
Why is that so ? I had a few counter offers as well. Anyway, the base salary is around 35 lacs, 14 lacs of stocks a year, 4 lacs joining bonus and some target performance bonus.
14 LPA stocks 😳😳😳

Does msft really pay this low?
With 50 lpa and potential future growth, you are better off in India, not worth the hassle of coming to US from financial perspective. But if you want to experience nice weather, less politics in workplace, exposure, visa trauma, loneliness / depression, then kindly do the needful😝
