Apple London offer evaluation Position: Field test engineer (hardware) in London Yoe: 7 No sign on bonus 59k £ base 50k $ rsu over 4 years Relocation will be paid by them This is their first offer. I have not negotiated yet. I was expecting something around 85-90k as base salary. I am hoping you guys would provide me with a realistic figure. Thanks Update: I was able to negotiate the offer to 63.5k base and 75k rsu. Hr says that this is the final offer. Should I take it?
Ok, I was aiming for that number as well. I just wanted to be sure that I am not way off the market standards. I'm in France right now and I don't have a good idea regarding the salary market in London. Thanks for your help.
Sheer bullshit... it’s never that low
Are you working at London as well?
Man this is very very very very low for London. Even tier 3, tier 4 companies pay more in London and we are talking Apple here. Are you serious you interviewed at Apple. I know folks in Apple London with TC of around 150K £ with 8-10 YOE
Ok just read you are Field test, 150K £ is for SWE. I guess we talked earlier, reject this offer outright. It's very very low even the revised one is not worth taking unless you are making way less than that currently.
They are placing me in ICT3... for the 100k TC, the HR said I need to be in the next level and they are not going to hire me at ICT4... I have no other offers... the TC that apple has offered me actually is more than twice of what I make in France.
Sounds as average for London and SDET, anyway Apple provides better package compare to most of the companies in London. I mean insurance, pension plan and so on
I think this is too low for London + be aware you have to pay almost 55% tax for your stocks.
Yeah, that's what I thought, too low for London. What is a realistic figure in your opinion?
Your total comp should be at least 100k with your experience.
