Apple New Grad vs FB/MS/AMZ
I'm expecting a SWE offer from a different team at Apple than the one I interned with, in a few days. Will accepting a new grad position at Apple (@ HQ) limit my options for the future or does the brand hold similar value to those above? I interned at Apple/FB/MS and have return offers with same TC + a new grad offer from Amazon, so TC isnt a factor. I'm looking for a place with good wlb to learn & grow for a few years without high stress/pressure(hence turning down FB).
Take FB, trust me. FB new grad gets E5 after 3yoe. FB is by FAR the best fang for new grad, nothing else compares.
Average is definitely <=3 years. E3-E4 in 1 and E4-E5 in 2 is easily doable.
Which team at apple?
Face value prestige Apple is easily on par with the other big companies. As in any company if you get stuck working on shit your experience will be shit. For a new grad, FAANG will make you marketable, there’s very little chance it will be a drag on your future prospect.

It's very close taking into account COL between Seattle and Bay area.
