I’m struggling to think what synergies the two companies have. Also to an outsider, quite different cultures too.

Well apple doesn’t have a services business whereas Larry publicly says we are a services company. Apple losing money on iPhone and only reason they were able to make it up was because of Mac and watch sales. Repair business is not gonna be enough in a couple of years. Oracle’s trying to grow cloud and apple kind of still needs one. I work in data science and it would be nice to have the infrastructure that supports Siri. But these two companies are giant behemoth. Making one large company does not make sense. The culture, process, attitudes etc are very different. Apple acquiring Tesla makes more sense to me.

I’ll throw my two ideas for what Apple should do, 1) make a dedicated camera device like Light L16, and 2) acquire Nintendo. Boom.
