I recently interviewed at Apple onsite for a full loop, after passing the phone screen. It's been 5 days radio silence from the recruiter - I'm taking that as a no go. I failed so here's hoping that whoever reads this will have better luck than me.
I got 6 interviews on my onsite. I didn't do as good in one of the 6, the rest I felt I aced. So I guess that's not good enough for an offer.
Some tips:
I realized these guys really love their Java. It's almost like they ding you if you don't do Java on the whiteboard.
Learn all, and I mean all Java data structures. HashSet, TreeSet etc. They'll all come in handy.
All Qs I got are medium level leet code. But seriously, they just want to see that you know your Java really well I think.
Each interview is 60mins, 30mins is tell me some past project / hard thing you accomplished, and then a system design, rest of time is a coding exercise.
