Hi. I've recently completed a full-day on-site at Cupertino (inc. w/ director) and got a thumbs-up, and was told they'll contact me within a few days with an offer. What do you think I should be expecting (and/or ask for) given my experience? Most of my 32 years experience is as a team lead, eng mgr, or business owner, and I've been specializing in iOS and MacOS for the past 11 years. Also, I have a few apps in the store as well as online courses, all of which I was told I'll have to give up. #tc #base #rsu #stock #apple
System engineer?
Which org?
Find out what level you are being hired at, then look for range of pay in levels.fyi
Most of the people here dont have that kind of experience. Compensation varies wildly at that level. I doubt you'll get many accurate answers here.
With 32 yoe, we need to know your TC. Tell us then you may GTFO.
Tree fiddy Seriously, depends on your level. 32 yoe is honestly so high that it’s hard to say. My random ass guess would be 400-500, but who knows, maybe you sucked in your interviews and they’ll level you with new grads. Or maybe they’ll bump Cook and give you his job. Not enough info to go on. Did you check levels.fyi? Did you ask recruiter what level you were interviewing for? For what it’s worth, I just left self employment after 12 years for an iOS job at Square at $420k TC. I’ve also got a course and another side biz and don’t have to give them up, that I know of yet. That sucks, but congrats on the new gig!
