Apple onsite interview last friday no feedback since. Rejected?

Feb 10 6 Comments

So I had an onsite last Friday for an Ops role with 9 people, I guess it went okay but I really bombed 2 rounds where I couldnt understand Interviewers questions/frame my answers properly.

There has been no emails since and total radio silence from recruiter. Does that mean a reject?

A week is reasonable to reach out. If no one answers when you reach out that might be a bad sign

Yes, One week is good. It took 3weeks between my onsite and the verbal confirmation at Apple, but I stayed in contact with the recruiter

I worked at apple. Recruiters are notoriously shitty. Could mean that there are others going through interviews, someone else got an offer and they’re waiting on them, they’re finalizing an offer, decision makers on the team are out on PTO, etc.

    Don’t sweat it

Depends on teams. I thought that I was out as I didn't hear back in 2 business days. Followed up a week after the final loop (on a Friday) and got positive feedback on Monday. So sit tight!

I was offered a job after 4 months of onsite interview. In the meantime I assumed it as reject and accepted my current job 2 months before Apple's offer.

Check with recruiter. Nothing hurts in checking.

It could mean many things, they will get back to you. And if you can’t wait then reach out to the Recruiter.
