I am currently a PhD student and my plan is to graduate by the end of Summer 2022. I am planning to go for an internship just before graduating and I am hoping to get a return full-time offer after that. So far, I have three verbal internship offers from Apple, Facebook and Intuit (Machine Learning intern). I still don’t have the offers’ details. What are your thoughts? Any idea about the possible prospectives for each internship? I would appreciate it if you can share tour recommendations. Thanks TC - N/A

What is your PhD research?
Computer vision
Do you recommend doing research in computer vision? Do you feel that the industry does not have many cv position ?
FB internship to full time conversion is pretty easy.
Actually that's not always true. Especially for research internship. For example, some teams in Meta Reality Labs Research do not do intern conversion for research interns. Better to ask your recruiter about this before making a decision.
