I had an onsite interview at apple on Jan 18. After my thank you note, HR said they would have an answer around Jan 29-30 timing. I followed up afterwards, and she said was meeting with team on Feb 12 and would know next steps. I know I should prolly keep my options open while I wait, but what does this usually mean at Apple? I already got a rejection from fb and Dropbox after onsite there, so hoping for better news here
Which role is it ?
Finance planning role
Maybe you are the 2nd choice and they are waiting for the other decision?
Had the same case with Apple. They suck
Apple has been saying they will know and let me know "next week" in the past 3 emails they sent me since 6 weeks ago. I've kind of moved on and applied to other places, but what could be going on?? Do they not send rejection emails until the person hired arrives first day in office??
So i got reply after 3 weeks that I am not selected
Wow
I'm actually still waiting. Haha. I pinged the recruiter again this week, and she said they will "know something by next week" yet again. Lol
Have u ever actually received a response?
No. Lol I moved on and took another job
Wooooooooow... Can't believe it. Not a single response. I am in the same position since 6 weeks. Nothing...

Worried that our top performer is an attrition risk. How do managers handle this?
Don’t worry. You ll be fine. Worst case if you don’t get it, probe to get some solid feedback. It will really help.
I interviewed for two roles at apple, got rejected for one. they said they couldn't give me feedback in the rejection, but should I somehow follow up to ask for any comments?
Yes. Always follow up. The recruiter will not hate you, they ll give you as much information as they are allowed to. Look for subtle cues such as need more algo background etc. you can use it improve and return again for an interview. All the major companies call you back once you are onsite. You are in a good shape. Consider it a learning experience which not many people get
