Given the long green card wait times in the US and increasing salaries / better social life in India, Do you still want to stay here? Especially those who came here after 2k16. Just for perspective!
🍿
It'll help us understand their thought process too - Given things aren't very straight forward here!
The work culture here is 10x better than India, for women especially
It’s definitely more safer here than in india
Is it a try to know who all are women here? People are crazy here and blind too
Trust me! This is a super important post : especially for those who came here after 2k15. Our generation hasn't seen much of an advantage moving here except for probably the currency depreciation. Of course if you are at a FAANG, then it's totally worth it.
@Ir0nm3n: Bullseye 🎯
Why after 2k16 women only?
probably coz op fits that category.Duh!
May I suggest, you are welcome to Canada, they will even give you Green Card/PR. Plus tech sector is good :)
No such things as GC in Canada. Tech sector is horrible.. both opportunity wise and wage wise.
I would say better than going back to India -_-
Indian girls who came to US catch the ABCD boys or goras and settle here with green cards. They make the most out of skewed sex ratio.
Little late to this post but I would avoid it to the best of my abilities. I struggled a lot to escape India. Had to find a fully funded masters program while financially supporting my family in India but somehow did it. I did everything i did to escape the constant misogyny I had to deal with in India. If I have visa issues I will try to move to Canada or anywhere else where I can exist in peace.
Why only women?
Because op is women trying to figure out her next steps?
