I’ve been looking for jobs for over a year and I’ve had quite a few successful “first interviews” with Talent Aquisition Teams. Each and every one of them has liked me and they say my next interview is with the hiring manager. A few days later, I get a rejection email. How can I be rejected without an interview ? If i did not meet the requirements, wouldnt Talent Acquisition just tell me straight away ? It seems as though they already have someone in mind for the position (internal or referral) and are just conducting fake interviews to prove they are an EOE (Equal Opportunity Employer).

Worried that our top performer is an attrition risk. How do managers handle this?
Recruiters will push any candidate that has potential of getting hired. Whereas HM may be picky and select a handful from the pool
Recruiters will push anyone even remotely qualified, they get paid by the hire. Also, many companies have policies where they have to open a job rec up to the public even if they are going to promote from within
You should share your profile and also tell us more about the positions you usually apply for.
Product-cum-Customer Success Manager. also Scrum Product Owner. Looking for similar roles. I enjoy customer success / user experience. I do not have any software coding skills. 14 YOE total
Hmm. That’s odd. You don’t really need any coding skills. I am assuming you apply for roles in same domain/vertical?
