I made a few side projects in the past years. I just looked at what other people did and I'm humbled. Now I want to have a reality check. Are my projects sh*t or is it any good to make any impressions? I'm looking for honest feedback and would listen to any improvement suggestions you would give to me, i.e. what kind of projects/technology/topics I should do instead. I'm open to any constructive feedback. Are you applying for a designer job or a software engineer? If the latter leetcode and system design prep is what they are after, not your project portfolio!
Agreed, leetcode is much more important than side projects.
Honestly, your personal projects don't really go very far towards landing a faang job. If you are not getting interview, try to get good referral from your network. Once you get the interview, the playbook to get an offer is quite well known.
Projects seem pretty rushed like you were building them specifically to get a job. Don’t do that 🤭
"Projects seem pretty rushed like you were building them specifically to get a job." what makes you think that? whats wrong with doing that if thats what you need to do in order to land interviews?
Please summarize I don’t have time
Wrong. That’s the only thing that you have.
