Privilege is invisible to those who have it. As an Asian whenever I talk to my black friends, I’m reminded of my privilege of things I don’t have to worry about. Like I’ve never worried about my life when police stops me in traffic. Sure I don’t have *all* the privileges, but I still feel it’s helpful to others to acknowledge what I have. It goes both ways.
