Asked to my first in-person interview in over a year. Mask on? NYC
So I'm interviewing with a small company in nyc - I expected to be invited to interview over zoom as has been my experience with other employers. But they've actually asked me to come to their office in person and I'm wondering if anyone has done an in-person interview recently and what to expect.
Obviously I'll show up wearing a mask, but will we be wearing masks during the actual interview?
On one hand, I am very pandemic conscious - on the other, the thought of interviewing with a mask on (inhaling my own nervous breath / fogging up my glasses) sounds rough. Not that its a huge deal (ive gotten used to wearing masks), but ITS AN INTERVIEW - like it's important to me that I come across well and the mask will definitely not be doing me any favors.
Also, do I shake hands or offer an elbow or what??
super curious to know people's thoughts/experiences on this!

Just my opinion but doing on-site interview this early is really stupid. What are they gaining if you go onsite?
