At OKTA, Is it best to apply by a referral?
Looking to apply (i) through LinkedIn or (ii) directly through the OKTA website via referral..
Apply through every possible channel. Ask your friend for referral first so they can get credited with bonus.
Just some feedback for all interested. My application via LinkedIn took only 2 days to get a robotic rejection. It’s not clear if the referral works better. But I did learn that applying with some referral from a person you just linked with is detected, questioned and rejected if confirmed. Only use a referral from someone you know here. This advice applies to all similar situations. In my case, I choose the honest route (I could have used a recent referral), and was rejected. The good news is I have made new contacts at Okta and the position wasn’t quite right anyway - so now I wait patiently and honestly for the next opportunity.
Doesn’t matter if they like the profile they will call.
