Planning to apply for Senior Advanced analytics role at AT & T. Wondering if anyone here either working or worked on that role in at & t, can help answer questions. Trying to understand the team culture, wlb, nature of work and growth on team. Anyone who's interviewed and how's your experience been? Please comment. #tech #analytics
Completely agree with above comment. Growth is only bit questionable and you will chasing fire drill on a weekly basis. Which org are you joining ? It might also depend on it.
Thank you. I'm yet to get a call back. I wasn't sure about wlb. I certainly don't want to be a part of toxic work culture. Amazon pip stories are very scary.
Its certainly not like Amazon stories !! Work culture is amazing !
@harryon what is the plan post covid? Is it flex or remote is an option?
You don't want to come here
Culture sucks. AT&T is all politics, data silos, filled with talentless boomers who would have left already if they could get another job but are stuck trying to not get laid off so that they can get their measly pension and live out the rest of their pathetic lives in a 3rd rate Florida condo eating canned beans and toast. But you may get a free cell phone.
Yeah. And some boomers are managers for data and ML teams but have no clue about it. It’s very bad here. I’m trying to run run run 🙈😬

I work in the DS team. I have mixed opinions. Team culture is great. You would have amazing co-workers and work on really good challenging projects. Work life balance is okay-except some days. Now growth is where there’s a huge drawback. Most of the managers managing the projects do not have technical expertise so not proper technical guidance is given. So sometimes the project lacks direction and you’d be left alone to do things on your own.
Thank you. That's good to know. I wasn't sure about wlb. I certainly don't want to be a part of toxic work culture. Amazon pip stories are very scary.
