Atlassian - Full Stack SWE - Code Design Interview

I passed the first engineering screen. Recruiter set up additional interviews. This is my first time looking for a new job. From the name of the interviews I've been given, I'm not sure what to expect from the "Code Design" interview. This is different from "System Design" and "Data Structures" interviews. Anyone have an insight? I am primarily a backend SWE but I do frontend. Probably 80/20 split. This is my first time interviewing for a "full stack" role. Not sure what to expect from a full stack interview. Do companies generally interview expecting someone to be equally as good at both and interview them in both areas? Absolutely

I passed my interviews a few months ago. The code design interview was more about testing your object oriented programming skills. The question I got asked was very similar to the ‘design’ tagged questions on leetcode. Focus on writing modular code and breaking stuff up into methods and you should be good. Fwiw atlassian seems to put a high emphasis on communication so make sure you’re speaking out and explaining stuff. Good luck OP!

How did your interview go OP?

Atlassian prep guide said expect frontend to be in a fullstack interview but my interviewer was a backend dev so it was LC-style. Not sure if they always do that but interviewer acknowledged it at the start as well.

What LC topics would you recommend to look over? Or anything else to study before on-site ?
