Atlassian has recently opened up a new office in Bangalore, and I am considering interviewing there. Given that it's a brand new office, I have my fair share of concerns as to how it will turn out to be 1 year down the line - in terms of work culture, quality of work, etc. They're hiring aggressively and having just 3 rounds - pair programming, system design, and value/management. This might bring the talent bar down (strictly IMHO - let's not debate on this here :| ). Plus, it takes a while for an offshore office to gain trust, so it might be some substantial time before Bangalore office starts getting some meaty pieces or ownership. A couple questions to Atlassian folks in MV, SF - h ow's the work culture there, and does it vary significantly from Sydney's work culture? What do you like, and what do you hate at Atlassian? Do you get complete ownership of products/entities? current TC: 70L (100k USD), 8 YoE

Worried that our top performer is an attrition risk. How do managers handle this?
Thatâs amazing TC in Adobe. I was offered a Computer Scientist 2 role last year and still couldnât get TC over 50L so ended up not taking the offer. Mind sharing the breakup?
