I have an onsite coming up with Atlassian (MTV). I would like to know what I can expect in an onsite interview. One Design, one Values, one interview is coding and other is Algos/DS. What can I expect in coding and design interviews?
Had one recently... What level are you interviewing for ? Platform or Confluence cloud ?
Wanting to interview at Atlassian already puts you far ahead than most candidates. Good luck!
Best in Sydney, from all I heard.
From what I can hear about other companies in Sydney, both likely true and likely a bit it a low bar. There must be more of a startup scene there (and there are probably some ex-Atlassian founded companies) but the biggest part of the tech scene there seems pretty buttoned up and corporate in culture compared to here.
There is no ridiculous money flowing around, unlike SV, so not much to waste on toys galore. The biggest thing the major startups brag about is free food, drinks/alcohol, gym subsidy and foosball table.
Recently interviewed and accepted their offer. On-site was really chill. For coding I got one leetcode medium question. I didn’t have a design interview, instead I had a technical discussion around my specific background and experience. For the values interview be sure to tie back Atlassian values into your responses. Overall the experience was challenging but good. Best of luck OP!
The leetcode question was it white board coding? Did they do pair programming too?
Mine was whiteboard coding

I am just curious why they mentioned coding and algo/ds coding separately?
Both are same, HR are dumb sometimes
