What can I expect from technical/system design round at Atlassian? Typical sd kinda questions like search engine, distributed msg system, taggin service etc? Or do I need to prepare sth more dedicated (parallel computing or so)? Thank you blind. Tc $160 5y
We're in the process of standardizing our interviewing process, and if you get the new process standard it will be pretty standard although with an emphasis on getting signal in specific areas rather than "have you got a good prepped answer for a question like this" If you get the old, not standardized interview you will probably get something like that (but with more end to end emphasis like at most companies) but depending on your luck with interviewer it could be anything. When they send you the panel can tell which by the number of rounds - 4 with only one coding, old luck of the draw system; 5 with two coding, new standardized one
New process has been confirmed.
Should be much more standardized then. The interviewer will have at least some formal training in the question and technique and there will likely be some redirecting to get signal in different areas, don't take being redirected as a bad sign.
So u want me to tell questions and then u mug up and join at higher salary and then brag abput it?
As if you guys are working on some quantum supercomputer
Beggers cant be choosers
Can you please share the system design question
Can you share your phone screen experience with them?
No phone screen. Direct onsite.
