I am not from CS background and I have been in Operations/DevOps for a long time. I do programming/scripting in Python, but not like a programmer or developer. I never had to use any Algos for my requirements. Most of them were either simple or straight-forward. I want to start preparing for programming interviews. Should I start with an Algorithms course like MIT/Stanford/Coursera first or start with "Elements of Programming Interviews: Python" book? I don't know why I am tagging Google, Facebook, and Linkedin here :) I am sure folks from these companies must be good at Algos and interviews. Thanks for your help.
Long timeline: 1. MIT OCW 2. EPI 3. LC Short timeline: 1. EPI & LC together
Thank you
Out of curiosity, are you Joma?
EPI and LC
What is EPI?
Elements of Programming Interviews
I would suggest starting with CtCI (cracking the coding interview) the do EPI or both, can easily overwhelm you
