Audible vs Amazon levels
I searched through the threads but I can't get a straight answer on this. In fact, I've seen conflicting ones. Can anyone shed light on director role at Audible.. is it really same as L8 at Amazon?
Lol audible titles greatly inflated relative to amazon. Know a Sr Director there who would probably be L6 or L7 max at FB
Audible: L7- SDE1 (equivalent to Amazon L4 SDE1) L8- SDE 2 ( Amazon L5 SDE2) L9- Sr. SDE 2 / SDM (Still Amazon SDE2) L10- SDE 3 / Director (Amazon L6) L 11- Principal Engineer / Sr. Dir L 12- CIO/CFO etc. L13- Audible CEO
Thanks. Interesting how the levels get much flatter going up. What would be Amazon L8/Director equivalent? It looks like L11 is broad and can be anywhere between Amazon L7 and L8
Sounds about right. L9 is considered as amazon L6 though, mainly because the band overlaps with SDE3 band and the levelling guide shows more in common with SDE3 rather than SDE2. L11 = AMZN L7 L12 = AMZN L8 L13 and L14 also map to AMZN L8 And audible CEO is L15 I think
Does SDM l5 a decent position for 15 yOE at audible ? I have been reached out by aws for l6 so i am confused .
