Anyone from Aurora want to chime in on how it's like working there? Culture, employee talent, leadership? Thinking about running over as Sr SWE Hows equity?
Best culture, talent and leadership by far compared to Google and Uber imo
Culture is super toxic. It mimics old school Google and new age Uber. They’re building a product and not a company. Amazing team and leaders but not worth it. You can’t fox with the leaders. Speak up and get the ax. I know some that were fired for no reason. Tread with caution.
How's L5 in comparison
They’re just behind everyone, technology speaking. They’re building ride share first self driving second or maybe even third. Culture will change with the IPO and HR mafia taking over Lyft. They still have their ducks in a row. Aurora is and was just small and making a name for themselves. The stories I’ve heard are disheartening considering the people they have there.

Tipping culture is really getting out of control! Waiter gave me ‘a look’ because I tipped her 10% for ‘BAD service!’
AD bubble will burst soon and only the big boys will make it. Tier1 suppliers will Continue to exist supplying the cameras, radars, etc... Uber, Lyft will be the service, OEM will make the cars/robots. I don’t see a place for these small players. I am sorry! That’s what I think.
Not quite true. Lots of SW work to do and no one even close
The goal of small players is to be aquired by big boys.
