My main purpose for posting this question is just to dig your brain on some things you would tell yourself if you were able to go back in time to the beginning of your career in tech. Feel free to share career advice, financial advice, or just in general any life advice.
Much thanks

You’ll suck at the start, but you’ll get better.
Just work 40-45 hours, high quality hours. Rest use it for fitness, making friends, dating, traveling and chilling. Focus on budgeting a bit but don’t worry too much about NW so early.
It’s all about balance.. your late twenties will be better, I kinda done the same, no “ragrets”.😎
Also, big one - don’t be a simp!!
- Don't pressure yourself to get to E5 in 48 hours. Work hard, but don't ever feel the need to go beyond 60 hours, even at FB. Start setting some hard limits in life.
- Learn finance 101, like what is a 401k, IRAs, and how you should take full advantage of compound interest starting in your early years if you haven't already. There's a lot of free money under the table that people just never utilize due to lack of knowledge, like 401k matching and credit card point rewards.
- Travel as much as you can before you start setting down roots and thinking about starting a family. But at the same time, if early on you think traveling isn't your thing, stop and ignore everyone (including myself) telling you to travel as much as you can. Advice is just advice, only you know yourself best.
