1. You gotta show that you know the basics. That’s non negotiable. Many bonus points if you know also Linux and related techs
2. It’s all about aptitude: can you demonstrate a desire to learn a lot of things, fast? Of course you’ll need the basics.
3. No one will expect you to know all of Azure. They are just testing for how well you can learn, fast.
4. Remember it’s a tech sales job. They don’t want a nerdy engineer who can’t talk. They don’t want a car salesperson either however. It’s all about finding the right balance. More like a consulting job, at the end.
