Microsoft always likes to include shit in Azure numbers that shouldn’t count to make them seem bigger than AWS. It’s the equivalent of Amazon saying that all the vendors that sell shit on amazon is part of AWS because after all, they are using AWS to do it. Even back in like 2012 they were doing this when they started reporting the number of shards being stored as “objects” to make it sound like Azure storage was bigger than S3. It sucks that they do this because it causes amazon to stop releasing numbers about how big AWS actually is.
Not sure about now but at this rate my bet is on MS
