I was referred to a couple positions at REI corporate and my application is ‘under review’ but it is taking forever. I really want to work there. Does anyone know if it is normal for them to take over 6 weeks to get back to a candidate? Any insights would be awesome!
If it’s been that long there is probably an offer out to someone and they just haven’t formally accepted it. It (usually) won’t change to ‘not being considered’ until the role is filled. Unless you’re cool with taking a very, very significant pay cut, you don’t want to work for REI HQ.
Well, I get the same level pay moving to REI (not developer role). And the hire process is taking forever.
I'm a contractor & it literally took them 12 hours to make an offer. For FTE positions the average is 45-60 days.
