I'm new to owning cars. Wondering what would be the average maintenance and repair costs for a BMW 3 series CPO 2017-18. Planning to own it for 5 yrs/100K miles.

I have a 2016 cpo i got 2 years ago. I ran into an electrical issue within a year but it was covered under cpo. Other than that, I just spend on the standard oil change, brake fluid, etc. It was under 500 for sure even if you get it done at a dealership. I get my stuff done at random small shops at specialize in german cars.

  Cpo bmw highly underrated tbh. 3 year old cpo about same price as a new civic. The main difference in cost is gas and insurance. I might change my mind if I run into an engine issue in a few years, but so far so good!
