Thinking about getting a fast daily car, which to choose? TC: 302k
If you want a fast car for fun, the sound of the inline 6 is a real treat that adds to the driving experience
Agree, although still trying to justify the 25k over the Tesla, for 85k that’s used DBA R35 GTR territory.
That's fair. I guess it really depends if the car is a toy or a fast do it all. The Tesla is definitely a more reasonable option, and just as quick.
You’ll save way more with Tesla in the long run with maintenance gas prices resale value and etc. I would say the bmw would probably be 2x costly. Also what’s the point of a fast car if you lose 5$ everytime you floor it. While Tesla flooring it is practically free. Also Tesla has better tech.
Hands down G80 M3 X drive. The thrill of driving inline 6 is unparalleled. I have a G80M3 stick shift and would never trade for a M3P. M3P is just boring and doesn’t even look mean like the M3.
Why is Tesla an option 🤮
Also worth noting, the BMW will prob cost 20-25k more than the Tesla new. Not sure what the out the door cost is compared to MSRP rn.
I ordered an m3p last week precisely for this reason. While I love a fast car, I would hate to keep spending more after splurging 80K. 80% of the handling, steering precision of an M3 for half the total cost of ownership sounds like a great deal for me.
Thanks for the input!
