BMW Service across dealers

Do BMW dealers in Seattle service bimmers bought not from them?

I am thinking of buying X5 fro BMW Portland but I live in Seattle.

The Portland dealer insists servicing is not at dealer level.

    OP, the warranty and the free service are two different things, but they come with the car and you should have the booklets with the conditions. I asked the question to the saleswoman before buying. She said these things were valid in the whole NA network, ie US and Canada.

    Yes, you can get it serviced at any dealer. Go to BMW Seattle, do NOT go to Bellevue BMW. When your service & warranty are up, go to Strictly BMW in Bellevue. It’s ran by people who used to work at Bellevue BMW when it was good and they know BMWs.

    BMW Seattle is great. I love them. I brought my car from another dealer and they didn't care.
    But, as any other BMW dealer,they are pricey

    If you don't have prepaid maintenance , I'd highly recommend going independent.
    They cost a little less, keep the warranty and are just as good.
