GCP which team? Customer Success or Professional services?

Dear all,

i have successfully passed the HC level and am currently in a team matching status.

I was offered 2 options, to join the professional services as TAM or join the customer success team as customer success manager.

What are the core differences that come to your mind which would speak in favour of one of those teams? For example in terms of 1) travel, 2) atmosphere, 3) growth opportunities, 4) team spirit

    Thank you! How is it in terms of work - my understanding is that Customer Success Team is basically a sales team. While professional services more like consultants.

    Could somebody who works in one of those teams may be clarify please?

    Don’t know google specifics but PS is generally higher paid, super technical, but with a brutal wlb (80%+ travel). Customer success is cushier, less technical, and usually lower tc. Depends on what you want because the lifestyles are very different.
