Which company do you guys believe is the best place to be a PM?

Criteria:
- Comp
- WLB
- Prestige

I’ve already worked at Meta and looking for something new. It seems like going to a Series A-B startup requires too big of a WLB compromise, and other than Google, no other big tech company pays as well as Meta. And from a credentialing perspective it seems like companies like Microsoft and Amazon are a step down. Ideally looking for a place with a higher talent bar.

So many posts on blind chasing prestige and brand name. What about doing your own thing or thinking about maximizing contribution to the world? There's more than just resume building

Fair enough. Where have other FB PMs gone after FB, excluding startups?

That’s what I don’t get lol. Google, Stripe, and Uber seem like the only other places that have similar comp & talent bar, and don’t work you as hard as a startup. Feels like options are pretty limited

What makes you not like Meta? I’m in my loop for L4 PM there now.

Google love PM. Apple hates them.
