I used to have an HSA with my old company. I know those funds are mine and the HSA is mine.
I’m enrolling in benefits with my new company and I’m getting an HDHP plan and can make my own HSA but it’s not company sponsored. They explicitly state it’s my responsibility to set up the HSA.
Can I use my old companies Fidelity HSA and put funds into there? Everything I read says I need to have an HDHP which I will but I’m confused since it’s technically hosted by an old employer? i really don’t want to make my own.
