Title says all - just started as L4 in AWS
more specifically,
1. how to get to know your peers & network. since everything is remote its hard to set up 1-1s with everyone.. should I just randomly email anyone inside the org and ask for 1-1?
2. extension of #1 - who is my mentor? should I pick anyone for this as well?
3. I know this differs by different team critically, but out of curiosity - when do L4 SDEs usually get assigned (even the littlest task)? Around 1 month? 3 month? weeks? trainings are rewarding but there are a lot, and idk if I can continue the tasks as well as actual assignments.
any tips are appreciated!

2. Manager will assign one to start with but feel free to grab anyone else. Don’t think of mentorship as a formal thing; any1 can be ur mentor if yall click.
3. By week 2 or 3 but ask for a task if you feel ready earlier.
