Given all these car posts, I figured I would see what peoples opinions are on the BMW hybrids. Strongly considering the X3 one.

Thoughts?

    I am driving a X5 now and I think it is great. But I already have 2 issues repaired by the dealer, broken sensor of passenger airbag and leaky front passenger air suspension. The good thing is that I am leasing the X5 so I will just return it after the end lease and not worry too much about the reliability and high cost to repair. I recommend leasing over buying for these luxury cars. But with leasing you will not get the tax credit for X5 hybrid, which is actually a hug number $7500

      I heard bad things about the small battery pack in previous hybrid model of BMW. Not sure if thing improved in this model as it is a larger battery now. Try researching the reliability of hybrid model after 5 years.

      X5 is actually bigger. X3 has limited space and having a compact SUV would be just spending extra money and wouldn't bring that much value for your car.
      I own a 2020 X5 and it's great! I did research a lot on same segments including Q7, XC90, GLE350.. and finally went for X5..
      Please note that I've a kid and I also carry a lot of items in my trunk which I never take out and still have space to add groceries or other things when needed... X3 for me wouldn't suffice..

    BMW are launching the iX3 now. Hybrids are useless.
