Hey folks,
Looks like there is a heavy backlog for appointment dates for H1B dropbox slots. The CGI website says the dates after October 2022 are placeholder dates only for emergency travellers.

Is there any news regarding new slots? Can we expect more slots to open for March/April 2022? Or have all the slots in March and April already booked?

Just keep looking everyday. They open up dates randomly.. you need to be patient. Also there is a limit on the no of times you can click on the site, after which your account gets locked for 72 hours or so.. if you have friends that are also looking for dates, you can take turns.

There is no end for this .. join the telegram group and constantly monitor for dates .. Everything is totally random at this point. play ur luck

I’m in a similar situation and have been looking for dropbox slots for weeks. Joined all the Telegram groups that monitor availability and haven’t been able to secure a spot yet. Its a struggle! One advice someone gave me was not to waste your login attempt when one or two slots open up. They will be gone in less than few seconds!! So you’re better of waiting for bulk slots to be released. There is no pattern for when these slots open up, just gotta keep looking and play the waiting game.
