New grad here. Just curious if there are any banks or consulting firms that allow employees to bring their pets.
Wait this for real? I'm curious to find out as well - I need to work there!
Yes. As long as they are suited up with a tie.
You won't find one..lol
I know someone who brought their malinois to gs after 6pm sometimes. A lot of smaller funds could allow you to bring your dog
I'm fairly certain that there aren't consulting firms that allow dogs. It's a very 'up tight' culture compared to tech. For example, banks/consultant firms often don't allow jeans on non-Friday days. Given this, I highly doubt that there are firms that allow dogs. Maybe small boutique firms that pride themselves in a more 'relaxed, tech like' culture. On another note, if you're doing consulting, you'll likely spend alot of time at the client site, so maybe you can bring it to the client site if they're dog friendly? Though i imagine that leadership would discourage it as it seems 'unprofessional'. Also, you're probably flying around alot, and it's tough to put a dog through that every week.
I can only imagine the reaction on the client’s face if their $1,000/billable hour consultant showed up with their dog, like “Me and Scoob are ready to size up these customer channels!”
I don’t want to work anywhere that allows dogs in the office. Jesus. How does any work get done if there are animals running around?
Hahahagagahahahhhhhhaaaa
If you WFH you can. There are a number of firms that are virtual and is just WFH + travel onsite
