Wife and I are are burned out from the first month with baby. Sleep when the baby sleeps isn’t working at all for us as we have difficulty sleeping during the day. We just
Started looking for a live-home nanny and realized the job market is $7k-$10k monthly which is around 1/2 of our household income.
If you have experience, could you comment on if it’s worth it ? Do live in nannies only watch the baby and do nothing else ? Anxious about having a stranger live with us and care for baby but seems like a need for us at least for a year. Thanks for inputs !

Suck it up for the first 3 months, then sleep train your kid. After that things start to return to normal as far as sleep goes.
Mine is 18 month, sleep trained multiple times, had to do it in each sleep regression and still wake up 2 he every night now
We hired a nanny since 3 month and can't live without the nanny because life is just in hard mode everyday
Baby is extremely fussy especially in the mental leap period.
What kinda other benefits are you looking for? ;)
