    I don’t know where did he get this secret revelation from. May be meditating under the bodhi tree. But I thought it quite obvious. Everyone is trying to build something that customers want to use and increase engagement.

    I am just an IC but this leftist crap of execs adding no value is insane.
    Good leadershipnis everyrhing, let me start googles buying of youtube, meta/fb buying instagram. Sure it may look an easy job compares to writing code, but an execs job is to work on meta problems which ensure the company survives and coders are coding for a company that exists.
    The simple reason why googles ad buisness is more safer compared to fb/snap is becaus google chose to invest in android, simple desicions with massive consequences.

      Execs are not making those decisions. There is a separate M&A org similar to engineering org. There are many orgs in a company and each org has execs and pawns. In most big companies pawns are doing all the hard work. Even in M&A org and execs take the credit.
