Dude, most people have seen ALL questions. It’s not about knowledge, it’s about good network (so you have the questions before hand) and good memory (so you memorize all answers).
I know many people in FANG that can’t answer the questions if a 2 becomes 3 and they’re now at senior levels.
As regards to is it morally correct... Think of an entrance exam, if you get the question that you studied is it unfair ?
Infact an ideal candidate will have practiced so many questions that they know a variant of all questions.
1. Clarify requirements first. I’ve seen a lot of interviewers switch it up slightly and ppl end up implementing something else
2. Once you’ve confirmed it’s the same problem, feel free to say “I may have seen this problem before but it’s been a while”.
