Best Masters to join FAANG as an Engineering Manager or higher with 10+ years experience already?

Thinking about going back to graduate school and wanted to get a feel from the community as to which MS would provide the best opportunity to join FAANG as an Engineering Manager. There are several MS in Software Management etc from top tier Computer Science schools that appear attractive but concerned about their technical merits. My BS was in computer engineering.

I don't think any degree would help. Very different skillsets than what's taught in schools. I personally don't know anyone who was hired into the position because of a degree.

Instead find company that's willing to bet on you and help you grow in the career path you are interested.

Are you currently an Engineering manager?

I was hired into Uber as an L5 Engineering Manager, then told I would be given a Senior Systems Engineer title with the L5 pay. I was subsequently laid off in under a year with Uber. I felt it was because I was placed into a group with other EMs who were non-technical and felt threatened. Having a hard time getting through to FAANG phone screens for any EM roles.

Do you actually have people management experience?

Well, Jay Parikh at Facebook has just a bachelors degree so i don’t see why any degree would matter

At 10+ yoe, going back to school for a couple of years doesn’t seem like it will have good ROI in terms of career advancement

Even for the part time program which is what OP implied I suspect.
