I have an iPhone and currently with AT&T. I do several international trips during the year and AT&T’s international data plan is ridiculously expensive at $10 a day! I hear T-Mobile offers free and unlimited data and text in over 140 countries but not sure how their coverage and quality is inside and outside US. Is that the best option out there for iPhone?
Up to 4G speed in Canada and Mexico, up to 128kbps (read slow) in other countries.
Get a pixel, love life, and enjoy google fi
T-Mobile is excellent and I use it. International data is unlimted, but slow. You can pay for faster data of course.
T-Mobile is giving me $140 per month for 2 lines which claims the price already includes all taxes and fees and unlimited 3G speeds or higher in most countries. Is that really true?
It's 40 a line all inclusive. Did you have add ons?
Hmm no, they quoted me $140 for 2 lines. No add ons
GoogleFi
GoogleFi for international roaming hands down. For local it's not optimal since when it's on Sprint mode it doesn't allow data+voice
I use TMobile because of Int’l travel. Speeds in Canada are excellent, usually LTE. They will slow it down if you spend more time out of the US than in after a few months but that’s not a problem for most.
Really depends on which block (not to mention country) you are at.
Canada, Caribbean/South America and Europe
