Hello folks, I have two kids that are under 3 and I'm thinking a career change. Would prefer something that pays well but still have a good WLB, any suggestion? Google? Walmart lab?
Cisco is flexible and has two on-site daycares in San Jose. I regularly hear children in WebEx calls and people bring their older kids to the office on spring break and such.
Google does have great wlb and fair pay, at least for my team
Adobe
Walmart yay 😉
Microsoft
Microsoft is known for great WLB, awesome benefits for families. Depends on the team, of course (Azure may be hectic than Windows).
How about LinkedIn?
Thanks all for the suggestion. Now off to leetcode!

OCI at Oracle isn’t bad in the WLB department. Not sure how secure it will be long term, but the pay is good and you aren’t expected to work crazy hours. Most teams will want you in Seattle though.
