I am trying to open my roth ira account. could you guys suggest which brokerage to open it and why? I am looking for a brokerage that would give me the maximum return (low fees, high return based on historical data, etc.). I recently look at Vanguard and Fidelity but not sure which one has lower fees and higher returns. i already have an account at Wealthfront but I think Vanguard or Fidelity is better or Charles Schwab, etc. Please let me know.
You can open an account at either and buy any funds you want. You aren’t limited to just Fidelity funds from their account. Fidelity probably has better technology than Vanguard (which is my main account).
Ally
Vanguard if you don’t trade actively, or Fidelity
I’m voting for fidelity. Almost everything I have including checking is there. Never had a problem is over 20 years
Fidelity has 0 fee funds. Vanguard doesn’t
TD Ameritrade and then use ThinkorSwim for options
Fidelity for zero fee trading
Schwab for their breadth of service and low costs.
I use Ameritrade because their website is second to none in electronically setting up a ROTH transfer annually. Zero trading fees to boot.
