in terms of TC, dating life, weather, food etc only considering cities in the states now There are probably more hot guys in NYC but gender ratio is worse than SF :/
Are you looking for a relationship or just one night stands? If one night stands go to NYC, if relationship go to Bay Area, your dating market value will be higher there due to scarcity.
Man again a poll on dating 😴😴 I miss the days of Nutella and the likes. Current blinders are boring.
That’s why we are on blind during holidays. Coz I’m freaking bored :( I asked this question to figure out where I could move next. Then I’ll have a better social life and disappear
That’s the issue. Go out and socialize more. You’ll find someone. But you want to find someone, so you can go out! Classic chicken and egg problem.
Why isnt Austin there? Heavy party school and a fairly (non ivy) prestigious public school too. No shortage of "hot" females or males.
I did not put it there coz I personally don’t like hot weather :/
Its not as hot as the rest of Texas at least 😂
I see lots of friends moving here (NYC) from SF, mostly techies or banking/consulting. The guys are all immediately overjoyed at how many hot girls there are and how much attention they get. The girls are excited at first, then reality hits them and they realize they have extremely stiff competition and become more and more desperate. Females, be careful what you wish for and if you think "the odds are good but the goods are odd" I'm sorry to break it to you the problem is you. There is an ample supply of ripped, tall, high TC, outgoing guys in SF. I recall doing a quick calculation with some dataset on the distribution of 10-scale ratings. Moving from NYC to SF as a female is like gaining about 2 points, and vice versa.
Here where? Tell me o great one 🙏
NYC, sorry I retyped and forgot lol. It's like heaven here, girls approach me and invite me to parties with M/F ratio greater than 1 perpetuating the virtuous cycle :) It's the opposite of SF where 5 guys swarm one girl who desperately wants to escape.
New York City will be bad for females. Ratio is much more in the men’s favor. In SF you have much better leverage
😫but I like NYC more as a city. Life’s hard
I don't think it's so bad meow, or at least as bad as they say with regards to gender ratio, especially seeing the odds in SFO... I know plenty of girls who've got hitched quite young in NYC and done fine with dating.
If you want you can go to kinky parties or bdsm clubs
Just be yourself. If it's meant to be, you'll cross paths with your intended. I was single (F) for 5 years in my 30's, in both SF & DC. And of all things, as soon as I completely gave up- I ran into the man that would be my husband.... in an area with almost no single, available men. It was the exurbs of DC, where only married people lived to raise children (cause it's cheaper). Seriously - you can't plan this sh*t sometimes. It's the journey. And it's a completely sh*tty journey, let's be honest.
Of course a lot of people also "leave it to fate" and end up single and alone forever. Some people get lucky, some work for it, but if you don't get lucky *and* don't work for it, your career/love life will stall.
I would say it's not luck or fate completely. That journey of meeting so many folks, putting yourself out there over and over. I really did give up after 5 years. But I finally just thought -screw it. I ain't settling, so feel sorry for me while I burn money to entertain myself. I know women that have to pay alimony to ex-husbands. I know women with fairly psychologically abusive spouses. It's better to be single than get stuck with the wrong partner. I had low expectations & would go out on a date with anyone that asked- but I also made clear someone was looking for sex, they were in the wrong place. Only time can thin out those that were interested in me for the right reasons. And with that attitude- and it took me a while to get there- I unexpectedly found the guy I ended up marrying. And he even had his own income!
NYC is a paradise for the ladies.
NYC! Never move to the Bay Area/ SF ever (yes it’s THAT bad) don’t listen to these nerds

Gender ratio isn't everything - when the odds are good, sometimes the goods are odd...
Yea that’s what I thought too. I gotta make up my mind now
Tbh Seattle has been depressing for me
