Hello and happy new year. Lets identify companies where work will be interesting and less bureaucratic. I am on top of the leaderboard in leetcode contests. Top 50 out of 4-5k. I am interviewing with Databricks. What other companies do you recommend guys? Have a nice day Just tagged google and facebook to attract more blinders :)
And how much experience in competitive coding? 😊
Approximately 2 years during university time :) i learnt it as a hobby. Didn't spend so much time.
Wow.. You must be really smart if you didn't spend time on competitive programming (and learned it as a "hobby") but still are in top 50 leetcode. Interview at Facebook and Google. Databricks is fine too but interviewing at these other companies will give you leverage in offer negotiations. I am terrible at competitive programming; have been trying to solve regular leetcode problems for the past 2 years and so far did only 120 questions (and almost all of them are medium). Looks like I have no hope :(
How's your system design knowledge?
Learning from "grokking the system design interview"
Why you asked? Just curious :)
Innovation teams in Microsoft - they exist at the tips of organizations (under CVPs, EVPs). They help determine product direction through their work.
With the caveat of less chance of solid growth through levels
Thanks for tip, it seems interesting
Genentech
Nice joke
What's wrong with genetec?
Airbnb ?
Over the next few years, it’ll be mostly the same companies as it is today. Beyond 8-10 years, impossible to predict, because those companies are the next generation of massive growth companies that will dominate new sectors that don’t exist yet. The companies that take over AR, VR, crypto, autonomous vehicles, space exploration, implanted computers, neural interfaces, personal aerial vehicles, asteroid mining, anti-aging, designer genetics, geoengineering, personal robots, fusion power, and a bunch of other things not on our radar. Focus on your skills and relationships and the rest will take care of itself.
Great advice, didn't hear such a meaningful tip before from blind. Thank you
What all do you read to be updated with trends? There is so much noise on internet. Looks like you have a handle on that.
Good first choice.
Thanks, can i ask about interviewing process in direct message?
Snowflake Computing
How long have you been practicing leetcode?
Not so long, i have competitive programming background :)
Can you answer to the question from article? Do you have any idea? :) thanks
