A few of my colleagues recently left to join Oracle, and they've mentioned very competitive compensation, which current company couldn't match. After talking to a recruiter, she mentioned that they were hiring for many divisions. Not sure if I am interested, hearing so much about the negatives about oracle - dated technology, bureaucracy, politics, lack of raises/promotions, etc. Lots of comments on Blind mentioning that the Bare Metal Cloud is a good division. I assume BMC is only in Seattle? Any strong, interesting groups at Redwood Shores office?
BMC has offices in the Bay Area too, primarily in Santa Clara. If you're interested, PM me.
you may not want to work at Oracle at this exact point in time. they just did an absolutely massive cold call layoff in multiple divisions. that's just bad company culture. someone posted the voicemail on here "So this is what being on a successful team with Oracle is like" look up this post on blind

Is it true many Indian couples are in sexless marriage?
The one I would not recommend is Product Release Group of Manufacturing and Distribution. No room to grow, poor compensations, and old school management style
