I keep feeling like i need a new mattress (it's been about 10 years and i have back pain). Taking to some folks at work, I've heard things as far as treating your mattress as a service and renewing every few years. Also i keep seeing all these mattress commercials on tv for companies like Purple, Casper, etc... What are folks thoughts on this.
Have you tried the companies that sell matress online? I have not but onw of my friends was happy about that. They have generous return policies, and you can get full refund if you don't like it.
Do you get much exercise? Running and swimming saved my back. I sleep on a 10yo Ikea mattress. I always start to feel that upper back pain whenever I get lazy and fall off the workout wagon.
Tempurpedic is still my go to. Paid 4K for the cloud elite. It’s definitely a step up from all the bed in the box mattresses being sold online.
Lying on my new Tempurpedic cloud elite as I type this. Fucking amazing bed and I totally should have bought one years ago
IKEA. Best mattress
Would highly recommend memory foam mattress. Bought tempurpedic for bedroom a few years back and now bought Zinus from Amazon for a fraction of price for our basement bed and trust me they both feel the same! In short, Zinus is really good!
Zinus sucks. Mine lost its firmness in a month.
Tempurpedic is objectively the best 👌 If you’re on a budget, Leesa is pretty amazing. Ive had high end ikea before too and its surprisingly good. Stay far away from your sealys and sertas - its like sleeping on a pile of trash
Have you tried sleep number?
Thanks everyone! Had anyone tried a sleep number?
Yes. I didn't mind it but my wife hated it
Bought a Casper and purple, but both turned out to be crap after 1-2 years. In the end coughed up 3k+ for a higher end stearn and fosters and it’s soooo much better. It’s like sleeping on ritz Carlton bed everyday.
Westin Heavenly Bed. They sell it online. Purple/Casper are trash imo. It's not cheap but a mattress is a worthy investment
