Looking for either an actual SDE role or Data analyst/engineer if I can get it.
Are you having trouble getting interviews or passing them? Do you have coding experience?
No trouble with interviews really. Got all the way to an on-site at Google, already had an on-site this year with a startup last week. Issue is more with fit and what role I should be looking for. I have coding experience, used to do full stack at a startup, and am building out side projects now so that I have more recent stuff to talk about. (Feedback from the last onsite was that my skills felt stale)

Are you a data analyst?
Yes, but less programming than I'd like, more deploying pre-existing tools as a consultant.
@OP, how proficient are you with SQL and Python?
Use SQL every day, though the queries aren't super complex. (Building a project to practice). Python I'd say I'm very strong in, maybe not so much if it's flask but for data science I'm good.
