Porsche 964
Looks somewhat feminine for my tastes. How’s the reliability?
Drive one into a corner and lift off the throttle, and talk to me about its femininity. Reliability is up and down. Look up information from the Porsche Club of America in which years and trims were (relatively) reliable. Short version: the flat-6 is a great engine, but when it gets neglected it’s hilariously expensive to fix. Like, 5-figures hilarious.
The GTO that Vin Diesel crashed in FaF. 9 seconds flat, never forget.
Mustang 1967 GT500
Seems to be the best option suggested here. Why 67 in particular?
Best looking mustang imho(67-68).
Do you want a new, "retro style" car, such as the modern Dodge charger (which is crap btw), or an actual old car?
Actual old car.
Do you have a favorite decade or something? 80s Porsche vs 70s American muscle vs 50s chevys are so different (to name a few) Edit: but to answer your question, 60s Ford GT40
Porsche 944 is dope
Watch John Wick II. Those cars are cool.
Miata is always the right answer. The NB second gen is deliciously analogue. Get over your budget and you’ll enjoy a $5k Miata more than a $50k something else. If you want old school muscle that WORKS, get a Corvette, C5 or later If you just want something brutish, go resto-mod 440 Mopar, Chevelle SS 396, or a nice 390 Mustang. Enjoy the quirks of carburetion. :)
Dodge Dart convertible
Define what you mean by old school
Like old school America muscle. Manual transmission. A metal key to start
Not my area of expertise, but for 100k definitely find a shop that does custom builds and see what they can do for you. Not sure of the price, but they could probably work with you and possibly have sources for finding the car itself too.
